IMSA at Sebring delivers thrills and strong performance from manufacturers, teams and Michelin tires
The Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring presented by Cadillac brought out an all-time attendance record according to IMSA. Fans were greeted with an addition to the GTP class.
“We’re especially excited to welcome Lamborghini (SC63) to the Michelin Endurance Cup,” said Jason Anzalone, Director of Motorsports, Michelin North America.
The new Michelin Pilot Sport Pro racing tire continued to build upon its successful debut in the 2024 IMSA season with fast, consistent and extended performance.
“Equally as important to Michelin is the GTD, GTD PRO category, where we’re showcasing our innovative tire solution, the Michelin Pilot Sport Pro with double stint capable technology,” said Jason Anzalone, Director of Motorsports, Michelin North America.
The 12 Hour race featured a 58-car field, with the GTD and GTD pro classes making up 34 of those entries. The new tire performance earned praise from Lexus driver Jack Hawksworth who set a new lap record in qualifying.
The race saw intense battles at the end in the GTP and GTD PRO classes building to a thrilling finish.

GTP: No. 40 WTRAndretti Acura
LMP2: No. 18 Era Motorsport
GTD PRO: No. 14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus
GTD: No. 57 Winward Racing Mercedes
