MotoGP: Britain’s round washed out

Torrential rain compelled the organisers to cancel Round 12 of the 2018 MotoGPTM World Championship which was scheduled to take place on Sunday at Silverstone, in the Northamptonshire countryside north of London. Ducati/Michelin was consequently deprived of the opportunity to try to take advantage of its timesheet-topping performance with Jorge Lorenzo and Andrea Dovizioso during Saturday’s qualifying which was also delayed due to the poor weather.
